Mains’l is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Senior Executive and Finance Team. As a CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the organizaiton’s financial strategy, planning, and risk management. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership, and board of advisors to provide key financial insights to support strategic decision-making; ensuring financial stability through accurate reporting, budgeting, and compliance regulations.

Salary: $200,000 to $250,000 salary

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with its strategic objectives and long-term goals.
  • Actively contribute as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team by providing financial oversight, data-driven recommendations, and strategic foresight.
  • Partner with operation leaders to identify and evaluate growth initiatives through scenario modeling, investment ROI analysis, and financial impact assessments.
  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, internal controls, auditing, and reporting.
  • Oversee capital structure, financing, investor relations, and M&A activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Mentor and lead finance, accounting, and procurement teams to high performance.
  • Set the strategy of work priorities within the finance team, enroll team members, and measure completion of priority objectives to meet established timelines.
  • Oversee a comprehensive annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
  • Lead external audit processes, including preparation, coordination, and review of financial statements.
  • Oversee the implementation of systems and tools to improve financial performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Master’s degree; preferred.
  • 7-10 years of Medicaid experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in healthcare sector
  • Financial Leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare finance, regulations, and reimbursements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in financial management systems and finance software
