Shift(s): Part-Time
  • Vadnais Heights- Every other Fri 2pm-10pm, Sat 3pm-10pm, Sun 8am-3pm, Mon 2pm-10pm
  • Vadnais Heights- Every other Fri 6am-2pm, Sat 8am-2pm, Sun 6am-2pm, Mon 6am-2pm
  • Vadnais Heights- Every other Sun 6am-2pm, Mon 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-2pm, Sat 6am-2pm  
     

Wage:  Starting $19.00/ HR 

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide supports consistent with what is needed for the person and authorized for Mains’l to provide (this may include dressing, bathing, responding to behavioral and mental health crisis, coaching through difficult situations, etc.)
  • Support with behavior management and intervention; including de-escalation and using positive reinforcement techniques
  • Support in transportation of varying activities important to the person as well as attend medical appointments as needed
  • Administer medication
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team on service plans
  • Document on service plans as instructed, ensuring accurate records for ongoing support
  • Complete incident reports
  • Ensure a safe and structured environment
  • Complete and stay up to date on all trainings that are assigned
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid MN driver’s license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check through DHS
  • 1 year of experience as a DSP or similar with behavioral or medical supports
