Mains’l is seeking experienced Direst Support Professionals who are interested in growing into Support Coordinators. As the Support Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Program Manager and Direct Support Professionals to achieve goals of the people supported while providing person-centered care.  The Support Coordinator will be a role model of how direct support is provided and connecting while leading and mentoring the Direct Support Professionals.

Location: St. Paul
Shift: 8am-4pm
Wage: $ 18.50/HR

Job Responsibilities
  • Meal planning
  • Grocery shopping
  • Budgeting and managing household bills
  • Scheduling and accompanying individuals to doctor’s appointments
  • Coaching and collaboration with the team
  • Provide supports consistent with what is needed for the person and authorized for Mains’l to provide (this may include dressing, bathing, responding to behavioral and mental health crisis, coaching through difficult situations, etc.)
  • Managing and administering medications
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team on service plans
  • Documenting as instructed, ensuring accurate records for ongoing support
  • Ensure a safe and structured environment
  • Assisting in scheduling, coaching, and training of Direct Support Professionals

Requirements
  • 1+ Years of DSP or Similar Experience
  • 1 year of Leadership Experience Preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check through DHS
