Mains’l is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead marketing efforts across multiple Mains'l entities. Salary: $113,900-$137,400, annually, based on experience

Work Environment:
  • Hybrid work arrangement with regular onsite meetings in Brooklyn Park, MN
  • Must be able to attend events, conferences, trade shows as needed
  • Occasional travel to other meetings, events, and organizational locations as needed

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish annual and quarterly objectives, KPIs, and reporting metrics.
  • Advise executive leadership on marketing opportunities, trends, and brand positioning.
  • Support business growth, workforce recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and community visibility.

Strengthen and Elevate the Brand
  • Serve as a steward of the Mains'l brand across multiple entities.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across digital, print, media, and community channels.
  • Guide marketing efforts that support recruitment, partnerships, and business development.
  • Use stakeholder feedback and market insights to strengthen reputation and engagement.

Build and Lead a High-Performing Team
  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members.
  • Create clear priorities, workflows, and performance expectations.
  • Evaluate department capacity and recommend strategic outsourcing, technology investments, and future staffing opportunities.
  • Balance internal resources and external partnerships to maximize impact and efficiency.
Drive Results
  • Manage the annual marketing budget and vendor relationships.
  • Use data and analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Demonstrate measurable marketing outcomes and return on investment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience.
  • Proven experience leading marketing strategy and execution.
  • Experience managing people, projects, budgets, and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, CRM systems, and marketing technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, human services, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience supporting recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
  • Experience leading marketing efforts across multiple brands, business units, or service lines.
