What You’ll Do (The Day-to-Day):
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet visitors, vendors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner
    • Provides appropriate forms and information to those who request them
    • Support current employees with questions about online training
    • Receive and share feedback from visitors and employees
    • Answers, screen, and forwards incoming calls, providing basic information
    • Monitor voicemails and faxes, forwarding messages to the appropriate person
    • Maintain office equipment and supplies
    • Follow office procedures for opening/closing, cleaning, and visitor protocols
  • Clerical Support
    • Makes copies and assembles packets as required
    • Sort, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
    • Perform data entry tasks
    • Support meeting prep (e.g., order food, prepare rooms, make coffee)
    • Run reports as assigned
    • Maintain and update agency phone and mailing lists
    • Scan, copy, laminate, print, index, and distribute documents as needed for internal and external stakeholders

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Work Structure: 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday
Wage: $ 17.72-21.54/hour


What You Need:
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • A positive attitude, even under pressure
  • Ability to follow direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable using office equipment such as postage machines, copiers, fax machines, and scanners
  • Previous Customer Service or Administrative Experience Preferred
