Mains’l is excited to add another Full-time HR Recruiter to our growing HR team. As an HR Recruiter you will support the recruitment needs of both our Mains’l Services and Mains’l Solutions companies, helping us find the people who make our work possible.
We are looking for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is energized by managing multiple priorities and keeping hiring efforts moving forward. You’ll support recruitment needs across the Twin Cities, Rochester, and St. Cloud for a variety of positions including Direct Support Professionals and office, administrative, and professional roles.

Salary: $59,000-75,000 Annually, based on experience

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm;
This is a hybrid role with time spent working in the office and in the community several times each week. Some local travel will be required for recruiting events, community outreach, and hiring needs.

Your day-to-day work may include:
  • Manage multiple recruitment openings from start to finish, prioritizing hiring needs, tracking progress, maintaining accurate candidate and position information, and keeping recruitment efforts moving toward successful hires.
  • Source, attract, and engage candidates through job postings, resume/application review, proactive outreach, phone screening, community networking, career fairs, colleges, workforce centers, and other creative recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with hiring leaders and HR to identify strong candidates, coordinate discovery conversations, provide follow-up throughout the hiring process, and support effective candidate-to-position matching.
  • Build and maintain community partnerships by representing the company at outreach events, career fairs, conferences, and other community opportunities while developing meaningful relationships with organizations and employment partners.
  • Collaborate across departments including HR, Services, Marketing, and People Supported to promote employment opportunities, strengthen recruitment strategies, and ensure candidates understand our Mission, Vision, Core Values, and the work we do.
  • Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience through strong communication, consistent follow-up, excellent listening skills, teamwork, and a willingness to take direction and collaborate with a variety of leaders and team members. And, of course, have fun along the way!
Job Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience required, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Experience working in human services (1+ years preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Human Services is preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence communicating by phone and in person
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of related state and federal employment laws (preferred)
  • Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and pivot as hiring needs change
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring leaders, HR, and other internal partners
