We are looking for a passionate, person-centered Program Manager who can lead and develop employees and students aligning with Mains’l Vision, Mission, and Values. This role oversees daily program operations, stakeholder relationships, staff development, compliance, and financial health to ensure excellent outcomes for the people we support.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Work Location: Chico, CA / in-person

We are looking for a passionate, person-centered Program Manager who can lead and develop employees and students aligning with Mains’l Vision, Mission, and Values. This role oversees daily program operations, stakeholder relationships, staff development, compliance, and financial health to ensure excellent outcomes for the people we support.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor Support Coordinators (SCs), and Program Specialist (PSs)
- Model and promote Mains’l Mission, Vision, Values, and Person-Centered Practices
- Ensure program meets HCBS Final Rule Guidelines, licensing standards, and quality expectations
- Manage assigned caseload, including referrals, admissions, and Start of Service processes
- Develop and update person-centered descriptions and goal plans
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders professionally and in a timely manner
- Hire, onboard, and develop employees in partnership with HR and recruiting
- Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, annual evaluations and recognition
- Maintain staff ratios, manage schedules, approve timecards, department budget, and attendance
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure coordinated services
- Provide direct support

Pre-employment requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience required, or similar
- Previous managerial experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI check if applicable
- Valid Drivers’ license
- Safe and reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test
- Physical, if applicable
