Location: Paradise, CA
Pay: $17.00/hour (increases to $17.25 after 90 days and completion of training)
At Mains’l, we are honored to support adults with a range of abilities as they pursue their goals, dreams, and independence. We’re currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are ready to make a difference—one person at a time.
What Does a Direct Support Professional Do?
As a DSP, you’ll be part of a fun and supportive team, working alongside people with mental health and developmental challenges in their homes and communities. You’ll help them live fulfilled, self-directed lives through:
Building meaningful relationships
Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.)
Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and medication administration
Supporting hobbies, community outings, and social events like movies, birthdays, or dining out
Creating a safe, encouraging home environment
Teaching life skills through modeling, coaching, and everyday fun
Advocating for those who may not have a voice of their own
Whether it's enjoying a game of cards, listening to music, or embarking on a new adventure, your role is to support and empower each person in living a life they choose.
What We Offer:
Schedule Available: Part-time, Saturday/Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM
Pay Scale:
Starting Wage: $17.00/hour
Increase to $17.25/hour after 90 days and completion of training
Maximum Pay Rate: $18.75/hour (based on experience with Mains’l)
What You’ll Need:
Must be 18 years or older
Able to pass a DOJ background check
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Must pass a driving record check
TB skin test and physical exam
